Hesham Interview - Founder of FamousBloggers.net and Zebida.com

Today, I'm very pleased to have Hesham Zebida here with us.

Hi Hesham, first and foremost, congratulations on the successful launch of FamousBloggers.net and thank you for agreeing to this interview.

If the people reading this ask, who is Hesham, what would you say?

I am originally a web designer who turned to be a blogger, I have used a few CMS platforms to create websites for my clients and I am so interested in Social Media and Making Money Online, and maybe this is the reason of my dream, I want to create a big social network for people who wants to learn how to Make Money from Blogging.

Could you describe what you do and how you earn your living?

Ah! To explain what I do it’s really complicated, because I do so many things, offline and online, I am a business guy after all, I have a bachelor in accountant, and I like to have partners on projects that may bring a stable income, recently I headed to the online business as I think always it’s good thing not to put all your eggs in one basket.

How did you get your blog noticed by the search engines and ranked for your best keyword phrases so readers can find you?

Very nice question, actually at the beginning I had no idea what I was doing, and I did lots of mistakes! I was trying, testing and tweaking my first blog that I call it My Life Thinking blog, I decided to have it as a general blog because I didn’t know what to blog about actually at that time, then I learned about social networks and bookmarking websites, and I added some useful plugins like the simple SEO and started to check my website keywords at Google Adwords tool before posting each post to my blog, and add the most searchable keywords to get the most organic traffic I can, and now I can say that more than 50% of my blog Traffic is from search engines which is very good, and I started to won the game somehow!

If you can only use one free resource to attract new visitors to your blog, what would it be?

The best way to attract people to your blog is your writing style and useful contents, so I made a plan to run a very nice contest on Famous Bloggers blog, I call it the Best of the Best Famous Bloggers contest, and I have succeeded to gain so many sponsors and reached more than $1200 dollars worth of prizes, the basics of the contest was about publishing articles from the participants and get promotion by them at the same time, so I have achieved two goals with only one contest, I have 7 amazing articles for the contest, and I got high promotion because everyone was trying to promote its own article which basically publish on our blog trying to win the first prize, and that is really awesome,  the contest is still running and it will end at the end of the year!

So I wanted to say if I had a free resource I will focus on contests and giveaways, it’s a great source of traffic and promotion.

What is your secret of turning new visitors into loyal readers?

There is no secret really about that, but I do one important thing which is trying to reply to all people who visit my blog and add a comment, and also answering their question even if I had to say that “I don’t know the answer”, and I always promote their posts if I have time, which makes them feel great and keep in touch with me from a time to another.

Yeah! Of course.. I just want to say something here to anyone who is blogging and all others who will read this one day, I want to tell to everybody to believe of what they are doing because believing of something is the key to see it happening for real, and I wish good luck to everyone who have a dream in this life.
