How to Preview Shortened URLs

Probably you are familiar with the shortened URL services which replace long web addresses into shorter ones.

URL Shortening is useful to keep the lengthy URL to a minimum and shortened URL can be easily fit into application with characters limitation such as Twitter.

However, there is a problem with Short URL. You can be redirect to malicious websites.

Since the URL is truncated, you can not see where it leads. You can only click on the link and hope for the best.

I found this website Unhid.co.cc, which can let you preview all Short URL shortening services and reveals where it actually leads to.

With this tool you can keep the risk of landing at malicious and spammy websites to a minimum.

It is easy to use, just paste the shortened URL and click "Unhide", you will be able to preview the actual link.
