Success Mindset - The Success Model

A success mindset is the foundation to excellence and a success belief is any guiding principle or passion that can provide direction and meaning in life.

These are applicable to entrepreneurs or employees at personal level. Many entrepreneurs started off as employees, working on their beliefs, creating full-time income with part-time efforts.

Beliefs help us to see our goals clearly and energize us to get them.

Beliefs are powerful and work both ways, if you believe you can do something or you believe you can't, you are right.

If you have negative beliefs, you should know the destructive effects they will have in your life. You will start to doubt your ability and you no longer believe you can produce results that you want. Failure breeds Failure.

How to have Positive Beliefs?

One of the best ways to have positive beliefs is through modeling of most successful people.

Success leaves clues. Spend time analyzing them, read about them, hear them, communicate with them and mix around with them.

Focus on the possibilities that are open to you.

In this case, you will get excited, you are energized and you have great expectation. Chances of you generating good results are much better than having negative beliefs.

So you have to ask yourself which side of the fence you want to be on?

Take a look at the figure below - The Success Model. It is pretty straight forward.

Your Goal is in the centre and supported by four building blocks.

Did you see the word "failure" in the model?

There is no failure, only results.

Success feeds on success and generates more success.  Each successful result creates more belief and momentum to succeed to an even higher level.

Do people with positive beliefs screw up? Of course they do, however, the key is removing the limiting beliefs and increasing the chances of success.

Before I conclude, I quote from the definition of The Law of Attraction : "I attract to my life whatever I give my attention, energy and focus to, whether positive or negative".

This means, whatever you focus on, expands.

The path to success consists of knowing your goal, then find the beliefs that support your goal, gather the necessary information, take action, if the results are not what you want, refine your beliefs, gain more relevant knowledge, change your actions until you get what you desire.
